Served by Amber is a private chef service. This policy explains what personal information we collect through servedbyamber.com, why, and how you can control it. If you have any questions, reach out at info@servedbyamber.nl.
When you fill in the booking form, we collect what you choose to share with us: your name, email address, preferred date, number of guests, location and any message or details about your event. We only use this to respond to your enquiry — nothing is used for anything else, sold, or passed on to third parties beyond what's needed to deliver that message to Amber (see below).
If you accept cookies, we also collect anonymised information about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type) through Google Analytics, to understand what's working and improve the site. You can decline this in the cookie banner at any time.
The booking form is handled by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that forwards your submission directly to Amber's inbox by email. Web3Forms does not use your data for any purpose beyond that delivery. No booking or personal data is stored on our own servers.
We only place analytics cookies after you accept them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site, which will show the banner again.
Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to plan and deliver your experience, and are then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymised form and is not linked back to individual visitors.
Under GDPR, you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it. To do so, email info@servedbyamber.nl — we'll respond within a reasonable time.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and adjust the date at the top.
